Research projects within the Centre cover the entire battery recycling value chain, including dismantling, metal recovery, and purification. We also focus on innovative battery design and the development of industry standards and policies.

Providing solutions for problems related to battery recycling

The ARC Training Centre for Battery Recycling will address industry-centric challenges associated with battery recycling, including waste battery collection, transportation, storage, material refining, and reuse. This will be achieved through innovative, multi-disciplinary research over the next five years (2024–2029).
